Year of the new Nikon - 2011
It's been 3 years since I've posted something to this page. It seems like texting and Facebook has rendered blogging useless, but not so. This page for the next few weeks as least will be a place to track my progress toward finding motivation for my photography interests.
I recently watched a National Geographic special on "The Presidents Photographer". Some of the images we've seen in print and in the news have been the result of thousands of images taken by Pete Souza the White House staff photographer assigned to the president. Flickr has a "The White House's photostream" page the displays alot of his work.
Imaging USA is coming back to San Antonio after quite some time. I'm hoping to revitalize my interests in creative photography by attending the conference as well as some pre-conference classes with my dad and Justin from Moore Photography and Design. I hope to come across some good deals on a Nikon 300Ds or even a D3 (you never know).
I had the idea to check on this page on the last day of my holiday vacation on the night before I have to report to my "normal" job, so I'm going to keep it short.

Ok - Who's In
So that we may be able to share contact information, questions, and opinions freely, without the fear of strangers lurking or peering at our conversations, this blog will be locked down once I have everyones email address (no work email addresses please).
